Canadian History Video Guides

These guides are meant to help students record and reflect upon the important points made in the corresponding documentaries.  It is my hope over the coming weeks and months to add to this section considerably.  If there are any requests for specific documentaries I can consider doing those quickly.

The War that Made America: Part 1 - A Country Between

This is the first part of a four-part series that examines the French and Indian War of 1755-63.  This conflict sowed the seeds that would shape the political future of North America.  This series highlights the importance Native Americans played in this conflict and how British offices imposed their wills on their American colonists which would foreshadow the American Revolution.  This is an engaging story narrated by Graham Greene and my students have always found this documentary interesting.
